Small Office Express website

While working for Deluxe Corporation, I was asked to come up with a design for a new spin-off company called Small Office Express, which was designed to be an online retailer of office products. Once again, I was given the color palette of gold, purple, and red. *sigh*

The direction I was given contained adjectives such as "fun", "exciting", and "hyper"... uhh... which are exactly the words that come to mind when I think of office supplies. And of course, I just couldn't talk them out of a splash page.

When they finally settled on a design, it looked like a Muppet had vomited all over it, and I hated it. Fortunately, this business idea never left the ground, so the site was never actually built. Whew! Close one!
