Digital Painting: Erika

When I first got my hands on Photoshop, I decided to see how good I could paint a portrait... from scratch. This painting was done entirely with a mouse, freehand, on a 15" monitor. It took several weeks, and at print resolution, the finished size was only 5" x 7". Anything bigger would not fit on my consumer-grade hard drive!
