This was a design brought to me by Visual Effects Producer Nate Norbie which needed to be converted from his Photoshop file into a Drupal theme. This design asks a lot, including highlights and glows in corners, and lots of layered or transparent effects which tend to wreak havoc with one browser (which shall not be named).
